Great climate for data centres
Thanks to digitalisation and artificial intelligence, the IT industry is one of the fastest growing industries worldwide. A significant portion of a data centre’s total energy consumption can be attributed to cooling. Energy-efficient EC fans help to reduce operating costs and are part of an economical and environmentally friendly cooling concept. Our range of EC fans and air conditioning units is as versatile as the possible applications.
Benefit from our many years of experience in air conditioning technology and reduce your PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) value.

Air handling units for data centres
Rosenberg has already planned, manufactured and installed tailor-made solutions for several customers, both nationally and internationally, in cooperation with local plant manufacturers.
For one of the largest web hosts and data centre operators in Europe, for example, we were able to supply 18 Airbox box air conditioning units to several locations.
The air handling units, with a total volume flow of almost 400,000 m³/h, reliably maintain the temperature in the respective data centre at 23°C around the clock.

Efficient and reliable cooling for data centres
On the roof of a state-of-the-art data centre in Texas, USA, 850 EC axial fans provide reliable and energy-efficient cooling. The fans are mounted on powerful chillers to effectively cool the heat generated in the server rooms, ensuring stable, temperature-controlled operation. Our EC axial fans offer maximum performance with minimum energy consumption. The integrated control system allows the speed and air flow to be precisely adjusted to the respective cooling requirements – a significant contribution to the energy efficiency and operational reliability of the entire data centre.

EC fans
with ULH technology
The new Ultra-Low Harmonics (ULH) EC fans from Rosenberg with active power factor correction (PFC) are designed for data centres and air handling units with multiple fans operating in parallel. They minimise harmonic interference, eliminate the need for external harmonic filters and reduce energy consumption.
The active PFC in the power supply enables a high power factor (low input current) and low harmonic current.
The power factor is typically above 0.99 and the THD(I) is < 3% across a wide power range.
