Dust and other contaminants in the air are becoming an increasing problem for the increasingly sensitive products in these industries. Companies with filling plants and the pharmaceutical industry face the same challenge due to hygiene regulations.
Energy-efficient EC fans for clean room technology
Modern and forward-looking manufacturing processes, especially for semiconductor production, optics and laser technology, aerospace technology and research facilities, require clean rooms with constant temperature, humidity and pressure conditions.

Fan Filter Units (FFU)
An FFU unit serves to generate an even, particle-free air flow in the clean room. Multi-stage filter systems are required for this purpose. Rosenberg EC fans take over the function of generating air flow and counteract the increasing resistance of the filters by adjusting the speed. A large number of FFU units are usually installed in a so-called clean room ceiling.
Energy-saving EC fans play a key role in reducing energy consumption and thus also costs.
Laminar Flow Box
Mobile or permanently installed cleanroom workstations are used for product and personal protection. Plug fans with free-running wheels or double-sided suction centrifugal fans with EC technology draw in air through a pre-filter and convey it through a high-performance particulate filter (HEPA filter). This creates a vertical or horizontal air flow that separates the workspace/process from the environment.
Industrial Air Filters
These dust particles and contaminants in the air can be removed by filtering with the aid of fans as components or complete air handling units.
Plug fans with free-running wheels with EC technology as components for these requirements are particularly characterised by their high performance and their quiet and efficient operation – even in confined spaces.
